What Is a Shard Starter Account, and Is It Worth It?
A shard starter is a fresh account whose summons have never been opened. You are not buying someone else’s champions — you are buying the pulls, and whatever drops belongs to you.
What is inside
Unopened Ancient, Void, Sacred and Primal Shards, plus the silver, gems and energy that come with a fresh account. The roster is empty by design: nothing has been summoned yet.
That is exactly why it costs a fraction of a built account. You are paying for the chance, not for the result — and the odds are the game’s published odds, the same as if you had earned the shards yourself.
When a starter is the right choice
You want a specific champion and would rather summon for it than pay the premium for an account that already has it.
You enjoy the opening itself. For a lot of players that is most of the appeal, and buying a finished roster removes it entirely.
You want a clean account with no history, no previous owner’s progress and no arena rating you did not earn.
When it is not
If you need a guaranteed champion, a starter is the wrong instrument — the shards may simply not give it to you. Buy an account where you can see the champion in the listing.
If you want to skip early progression entirely, a starter still leaves you at the beginning of the campaign.

Are the summon odds different on a purchased starter?
No. Drop rates are set by the game and do not vary by account. A starter account gives you the same published odds as any other account.
Can I see what I pulled before buying?
No — that is the point of a starter. The shards are unopened when you receive the account, and nobody, including us, knows what is inside them.
