RAID Update 11.90: Unempowerment, Wishlist Boosts, and AI Fixes
The latest update for RAID: Shadow Legends introduces a series of quality-of-life improvements aimed at giving players greater control over their rosters and streamlining daily activities. From the ability to reverse past empowerment decisions to smarter combat logic, these changes offer new strategic depth for long-term accounts.
Wishlist Boost Event
Starting with update 11.90, players at Level 42 and above can participate in the new Wishlist Boost Event. This feature increases the summoning chance for Souls of selected Champions by x15 across all varieties of Soulstones. While this does not guarantee a specific pull, it provides a much more focused way to target high-level Awakenings for your primary Clan Boss, Hydra, or Arena teams.
Champion Unempowerment
Perhaps the most significant addition is the ability to Unempower Legendary Champions. This process allows you to revert an empowered Champion to their base state, returning the previously consumed duplicates to your collection. To perform this, you must navigate to the Guardian Ring, select the Empower Champions tab, and choose the Unempower option.
- Unempowerment requires one Unempowerment Coin.
- The process returns the original Champion alongside the duplicates used for empowerment.
- Returned duplicates arrive at Rank 5, Level 1, with no gear, masteries, or extra upgrades.
- Reversed Champions do not count as newly acquired units for events or the Champion Index.
Managing Unempowerment Coins
To prevent excessive manipulation of rosters, the game limits access to the Unempowerment feature. You can hold only one Unempowerment Coin at a time, and the balance refreshes once per month. Unused coins do not stack, meaning you must plan your monthly unempowerment carefully. Currently, there are no other ways to acquire these coins beyond the monthly refresh.
Champion AI and Quality of Life
The update includes the fourth wave of AI refinements, targeting 21 specific Champions to improve skill priority and target selection during Auto Battles. Additionally, all Champions now feature improved logic when dealing with Infest debuffs and skills that spread debuffs. Other interface improvements include:
- Advanced Quest Go buttons now direct you to the latest available dungeon stage.
- The Teams of the Week window now displays Champion Blessings, Empowerment levels, and equipped relics.
- A search bar has been added to the All Buffs & Debuffs information tab.
- The Tavern Instant Upgrade feature now defaults to excluding max-level Champions from being used as food, though this can be toggled manually.

Can I unempower Epic or Rare Champions?
No, the current implementation of the Unempowerment feature is restricted exclusively to Legendary Champions.
What happens to the gear and masteries on my empowered Champion?
When you unempower a Champion, they retain their current level, rank, ascension, masteries, and equipped artifacts or accessories; only the empowerment bonuses are removed.
Will I get more than one Unempowerment Coin per month?
No, players are limited to one coin per month, and since they do not stack, you cannot save them for future use if you do not spend your current coin before the monthly refresh.
Do returned duplicates count toward Champion collection events?
No, duplicates returned through the Unempowerment process are not considered newly acquired and will not contribute to tournament points, quests, or collection progress.
